THE TRUCKEE AREA

Truckee offers homeowners many fantastic opportunities for real estate and properties. TAHOE DONNER AREA Tahoe Donner is the Sierra’s premier outdoor area destination. This resort community features championship golf courses, lake access, pools, recreation center, summer and winter events, casual and elegant dining, camping, horseback riding, downhill and cross country skiing.  In Truckee, Tahoe Donner is a couple of miles from town shopping, grocery stores, banks and restaurants.

DONNER LAKE AREA

Donner Lake combines history and old Sierra creating a charming area. Surrounded by an awe inspiring alpine lake, there are a multitude of recreational activities including boating, skiing, hiking, and fishing.

DONNER SUMMIT AREA

Donner Summit is about twenty minutes from Truckee.  When driving from the Bay Area or Sacramento, you drive through the summit prior to reaching Truckee and Lake Tahoe.  Ski resorts Sugar Bowl and Royal Gorge call Donner Summit home and the area is considered the first Sierra location after the foothills. Snow is heavier in this area and the community is smaller and more remote.  There are quaint, historic and remote cabins available as well as property lots for building.
